Job Description
This full-time Class A Port Driver position in Long Beach involves safely operating company trucks to and from the port, communicating with management on schedules, maintaining accurate log books, and performing vehicle inspections. Candidates must have a valid CDL Class A, a TWIC Card, and at least 2 years of Class A driving experience, along with the physical ability to sit for long periods and climb in and out of vehicles.
Must Have:
- Operate company trucks safely and efficiently to and from port
- Communicate frequently with the Manager on delivery schedule, routing, and trip updates
- Keep all log books up to date in an accurate and timely manner
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report maintenance issues for repair
- Valid CDL Class A
- Valid TWIC Card
- Minimum of 2 years Class A driving experience
- Must be able to sit for long periods, and climb in and out of commercial vehicles regularly without assistance
