Job Summary
The QMM1 engineer acts as the link between the plant and the client, ensuring client satisfaction by meeting quality requirements, efficiently managing engineering/process changes, and effectively resolving quality-related problems and claims. This role is within Bosch, a company focused on beneficial technologies in mobility, consumer goods, industrial, and energy sectors.
Must Have
- Responsible for PPAP/APQP preparation for Aguascalientes plant programs.
- Responsible for "General agreement" between Bosch Plant to plant based on CDQ0515.
- Responsible for preparing and obtaining client approval for engineering/process changes.
- Responsible for following up on client problems/claims (including Bosch P2P) zero miles and warranty.
- Elaborate and present PPAP/APQP folder to client for new programs and/or engineering changes.
- Lead the 8D multifunctional team for client problems and/or claims.
- Update and follow up on QC's.
- Coordinate sorting actions at client facilities.
- Follow up on sorting charges or client chargebacks for EDC classification.
- Review and update client portals/systems.
- Support and/or coordinate client visits to the Aguascalientes plant (quality topics).
- Monitor, evaluate, and coordinate the implementation of new client specific requirements.
- Deliver Monthly Report on the current status of client scorecards.
- Report to the management team on client satisfaction indicators.
- Maintain and define action plans for QMM1 area metrics.
- Execute the gatekeeper role in concessions that apply to QMM1.
- Comply with the activities defined for the QMM1 department in the AguP procedures.

Job Description
Position Objective:
The QMM1 engineer will be the link between the plant and the client to guarantee client satisfaction by fulfilling their quality requirements, efficiently managing engineering/process changes, as well as effectively resolving quality-related problems and claims.
Main Specific Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the preparation of PPAP/APQP for the Aguascalientes plant programs.
- Responsible for the "General agreement" between Bosch Plant to plant based on CDQ0515.
- Responsible for the preparation and obtaining client approval for Engineering/Process changes.
- Responsible for following up on Client problems/claims (including Bosch P2P) zero miles and warranty.
Specific Tasks:
1. The VM/QMM1-AguP team is responsible for:
1. PPAP/APQP Process:
- Prepare and present the PPAP/APQP folder to the client for new programs and/or engineering changes, as well as promptly follow up on client approval.
- Work on tasks assigned by the engineering change manager.
- Actively participate in APQP meetings with clients, either at our facilities or the client's.
- Actively participate in various meetings such as CFT, Component Review, Engineering Changes, and others required by the company.
2. Client Claims Management:
- Communicate any client problem and/or claim to affected areas and all associates.
- Act as leader of the 8D multifunctional team for client problems and/or claims (whether official or unofficial).
- Update and follow up on QC's.
- Coordinate sorting actions at client facilities.
- Follow up on sorting charges or client chargebacks, so they are classified as EDC.
3. General Client Service:
- Review and update client portals/systems (as assigned).
- Support and/or coordinate client visits to the Aguascalientes plant (quality topics).
- Monitor, evaluate, and coordinate the implementation of new client specific requirements.
4. Monitoring Client Satisfaction Indicators:
- Delivery of Monthly Report on the current status of client scorecards.
- Report to the management team on client satisfaction indicators (PPM's, Customer Concerns, APQP (PSW) and support for engineering changes).
- Maintain and define action plans for QMM1 area metrics, including IpBs reporting for the Plant Management Review meeting.
5. Execute the gatekeeper role in concessions that apply to QMM1:
- Responsible for the production line / Value Stream where the deviation occurs (VM/QMM2-AguP) or responsible for the project (VM/QMM1-AguP) for deviations during the PPAP process.
- Responsible for:
- Participating in the concession feasibility meeting to ensure its feasibility and content.
- Ensuring that no material is shipped to the client before concession approval.
- Validating the containment actions defined in the concession, as well as their sustainability throughout its validity period.
- Validating the concession closure evidence.
6. Comply with the activities defined for the QMM1 department in the AguP procedures.
Requirements
Education:
a) Minimum Level of Studies: Engineering, Bachelor's Degree
b) Specialty: Industrial Engineer or related
c) English: Advanced
d) Years of experience: 5 to 7 years.
