Job Description

​As a Clinical Applications Consultant, Vue PACS, you will play a critical role in optimizing clinical workflows by analyzing, configuring, and implementing Philips PACS solutions to enhance efficiency and patient care. Your expertise will ensure a seamless transition for customers adopting new functionalities and workflow changes.

Your role:

  • Implements solutions and delivers clinical consulting projects for healthcare customers, aids in development of new solutions and consulting methods, and contributes to the solution design and delivery activities. Healthcare consultants are involved in consulting engagements that are project-based (v. relationship-based).
  • You will work closely with healthcare providers, IT teams, and internal Philips stakeholders to assess existing workflows, recommend improvements, and guide change management strategies. Your role involves delivering clinical consulting services, coaching users, and configuring solutions to align with operational needs.
  • This role offers opportunities for professional growth through hands-on experience with advanced medical imaging technology, participation in industry seminars, and collaboration with a global team of experts. You will be an active member of the application, education, and consulting communities, sharing knowledge and best practices.
  • You will engage with clients in diverse clinical environments, both domestically and internationally, ensuring successful implementation and adoption of Philips solutions.

You are the right fit if:

  • Bachelor's Degree in areas such as Healthcare Consulting, Clinical Education and Training, Clinical Radiology Practice or equivalent.
  • 5+ years experience of PACS implementation experience required. AART/ASRT certifications and/or PACS Admin experience highly desired.
  • Strong knowledge of various hospital workflows, consultative personality and training background Excellent communication skills 
  • Capacity to travel extensively- 75% nationally,

How we work together 

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

Philips Transparency Details 

The pay range for this position in AR, AZ, ID, IA, KS, KY, LA, ME, MS, MO, MT, NE, NM, OK, SC, SD, TN, UT or WV is $84,000 to $133,000 per year.

The pay range for this position in AL, CO, DE, FL, GA, IL, IN, MI, MN, NV, NH, NC, ND, OH, OR, PA, TX, VT, VA, WI, or WY is $88,000 to $140,000 per year.

The pay range for this position in AK, HI, MD, RI, or WA is $92,000 to $147,000 per year.

The pay range for this position in CA, CT, DC, MA, NJ or NY is $98,000 to $157,000 per year.

The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.     

In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.  Employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive Philips Total Rewards benefits program, which includes a generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more.  Details about our benefits can be found here.   

At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.
