Job Description

The Production Planner 2 calculates optimal production plans for in-house and outsourced manufacturing, considering throughput times and logistic parameters. This role balances supply and demand to ensure finished products are available for customer orders while maintaining inventory levels aligned with business objectives. Responsibilities include directing production planning activities, creating and monitoring daily schedules and work orders, controlling production plans, and identifying solutions through root cause analysis. The planner also develops and improves planning processes and leads small improvement projects.

  • SAP experience is preferable.
Must Have:
  • Calculate optimal production plans for in-house/outsourced manufacturing.
  • Balance supply and demand to ensure product availability and optimal inventory.
  • Direct and coordinate production planning activities.
  • Create and monitor daily schedules and work orders.
  • Control daily/weekly production plans.
  • Find and propose solutions using Root Cause Analysis.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related careers.
  • 2 years of experience in Business and/or Supply chain, including SCM and x-function organization.
  • Familiarity with ERP and advanced planning tools.
  • Advanced English level.

Calculate an optimal production plan for inhouse/outsourced manufacturing, taking into account throughput times and logistic parameters, balancing supply and demand of the markets to ensure that finished products are available in DC/RDC w/h at the time of customer orders and that integral inventory levels are in line with business objectives.

Your role:

  • Directs and coordinates activities concerned with production planning of company products, utilizing knowledge of product mix, production methods and procedures.
  • Creates the daily schedule for the Master Production Schedule.
  • Creation and monitoring of work orders.
  • Control of the daily / weekly production plan.
  • Finds and propose solutions by involving planning data from multiple resources using Root Cause Analysis.
  • Takes initiative and identifies problems in actual way of working, formulates alternatives and recommendations.
  • Develops and introduces new supporting planning sub processes and improves existing planning processes.
  • Initiates & runs small planning improvement projects.

You're the right fit if:

  • You have a bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related careers and/or equivalent.
  • You have acquired 2 years of experience in Business and/or Supply chain, including experience with Supply Chain Management and a x-function organization.
  • Your skills include familiarity with ERP and advanced planning tools, SAP preferable, advanced English level.

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.

Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.

Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

This is an onsite role.
