Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Business Excellence Leader to drive continuous improvement, elevate operational excellence, and deliver meaningful improvements across Philips' Oral Health Care (OHC) organization. This strategic role involves guiding the business toward sustainable growth by shaping work processes, improving performance, and inspiring teams. The leader will partner with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, implement best practices, and ensure alignment with company goals, quality standards, and customer expectations, based in Amsterdam.
Must Have
- Lead impactful improvement initiatives aligned with OHC priorities, using Lean, Agile, and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
- Conduct end-to-end process reviews and identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities.
- Translate business strategy into measurable objectives and improvement initiatives.
- Develop and monitor KPIs, dashboards, and performance scorecards.
- Champion a culture of operational excellence by fostering sustainable behavioral change.
- Lead change initiatives through structured methodology - identifying root causes, creating solutions and ensuring it is embedded in the organization.
- Coach stakeholders and teams to adopt new processes or behaviors.
- Manage cross-functional improvement projects from concept to implementation.
- Design and facilitate dynamic workshops that remove barriers, unlock team potential, and accelerate business results.
- Track milestones, risks, budgets, and benefits realization.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement across the organization.
- Challenge assumptions, spark innovation, and help shape a bold vision for future success.
- Bachelor’s degree and at least 10 years of experience leading major initiatives in complex, cross-functional environments.
- Deep expertise in Continuous Improvement (Lean/Agile), project and change management, and performance management.
- Strong business acumen with analytical, hands-on data skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire, empower, and collaborate effectively.
- Energetic, structured facilitator who can run effective workshops, and comfortable operating in a global setting with diverse cultures.
- Ability to drive impact across a matrix driven organization.

You will partner with cross-functional teams to identify improvement opportunities, implement best practices, and ensure alignment with company goals, quality standards, and customer expectations. You will be based at our head office in Amsterdam.
Your role:
1. Continuous Improvement & Process Optimization
- Lead impactful improvement initiatives aligned with OHC priorities, using Lean, Agile, and Continuous Improvement methodologies.

You're the right fit if:
- Bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred) and at least 10 years of experience leading major initiatives in complex, cross-functional environments.
- You have deep expertise in Continuous Improvement (Lean/Agile), project and change management, and performance management.
- You combine strong business acumen with analytical, hands-on data skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire, empower, and collaborate effectively.
- You’re an energetic, structured facilitator who can run effective workshops, and you’re comfortable operating in a global setting with diverse cultures.
