WongDoody is seeking a Senior Client Partner (Account Director level) in Toronto to build deep client relationships and lead a long-term digital transformation program. This role involves collaborating with creative, production, project management, and tech teams to deliver innovative solutions for a flagship client, ensuring projects are on time and budget, and identifying growth opportunities. The role requires onsite presence for 10 hours per week.
Must Have
- Build deep relationships with key client stakeholders based on trust.
- Deliver a long-term digital transformation program.
- Collaborate with creative, production, project management, and tech teams.
- Serve as key day-to-day strategic partner to external clients and intercompany team.
- Champion new ideas, concepts, and solutions.
- Ensure client expectations and deliverables are met accurately, on time, and on budget.
- Manage matrixed teams; provide guidance, clear direction, and thought leadership.
- Manage development and execution of omni-channel marketing.
- Establish, improve, and maintain processes and documents.
- Work closely with the client and meet in person on a weekly basis.
- Build knowledge of the client to build wider relationships and growth pipeline.
- Seamless delivery of the digital transformation project.
- Work closely with international teams to support program delivery.
- Work closely with the Executive client leader to evolve client delivery and growth plans.
- 8+ years of experience client leadership in digital agency or marketing consultancy.
Good to Have
- Experience managing CX engagements (strategy + UX/UI design) with multiple project tracks and teams.
Job Description
WongDoody is looking for a strong Account Director level candidate with expertise in digital transformation design and build.
As a Sr. Client Partner (aka Account Director) you will be accountable to build a deep relationship with key client stakeholders based on trust to deliver a long-term digital transformation program . You'll collaborate with creative, production, project management and tech teams to deliver innovative, effective, work for our flagship client in Toronto, Canada.
Clients look to their Client Partnership team to be a strategic voice to lead large projects that impact their business. And trusts you to keep an eye for growth opportunities across their portfolio.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Serve as key day-to-day strategic partner to your external clients and intercompany team
- Champion new ideas, concepts and solutions to our clients and cross functional teams
- Collaborate with cross functional teams in support of marketing/advertising solutions and client needs
- Ensure client expectations and deliverables are met accurately, on time, and on budget
- Manage matrixed teams; provide guidance, clear direction and thought leadership on a day-to-day basis
- Manage development and execution of omni-channel marketing
- Establish, improve and maintain processes and documents to aid in the organization and accuracy of how the projects work
- You will be the client’s trusted partner, and viewed as part of their team working as the conduit between , The client and their partners
- You will work closely with the client and will meet with them in person on a weekly basis.
- Build your knowledge of the client to build wider relationships outside of the immediate business to build a growth pipline
- Your first priority is the seamless delivery of the digital transformation project
- You will work closely with the international teams to support the program delivery
- You will work closely with the Executive client leader to evolve the client delivery and wider growth plans

WHAT YOU'VE GOT
- 8+ years of experience client leadership in digital agency or marketing consultancy
- Confident, engaging, and persuasive presentation style
- Track record of expanding relationships and scope through organic growth
- Trained eye to evaluate creative work from both a strategic and executional perspective
- Experience managing CX engagements (strategy + UX/UI design) with multiple project tracks and teams a plus!
- Fluency in digital products/deliverables, web development technologies, and design thinking
- Ability to carefully listen, process and validate stakeholder input from internal and external sources
- An understanding of integrated production and the ability to lead engagements from start to finish
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- A sense of humor!
