Job Summary

You will play a key role in the store's success by leading the team to achieve sales and profitability objectives, while contributing to recruitment, performance management, training, and development. Adaptability to various situations, environments, responsibilities, and work schedules is essential.

Must Have

  • Ensure the store meets company objectives and key performance indicator targets
  • Exercise leadership for the store by implementing company policies and procedures
  • Implement merchandising strategies while providing a welcoming environment
  • Train, coach, and provide on-the-spot feedback to team members
  • Maintain effective and open communication with store and district management
  • Minimum 6 months of leadership/supervisory experience in customer service
  • Ability to mobilize and guide a team
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent multitasking skills in a dynamic environment
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends

As a Team Leader, you will report to the Store Manager and support the management team in creating an inclusive and positive work environment. You will play a key role in the store's success by leading the team to achieve sales and profitability objectives, while contributing to recruitment, performance management, training, and development. Your ability to adapt to different situations, environments, responsibilities, and work schedules will be essential to your success in this position.

A typical day

  • Ensure the store meets company objectives and key performance indicator targets;
  • Exercise your leadership for the store by implementing company policies, procedures, and contributing to loss prevention, payroll, reporting, and planning;
  • Implement merchandising strategies while providing a clean, consistent, and welcoming environment that encourages customers to shop;
  • Train, coach, and provide on-the-spot feedback to team members;
  • Maintain effective and open communication with store management and district management.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 6 months of leadership and/or supervisory experience in a customer service-oriented environment
  • Demonstrated ability to mobilize and guide a team towards common goals
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent multitasking skills in a dynamic environment, while providing an exceptional customer experience
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends
