Job Description

The Cloud Web Application Engineer at Google Cloud Platform will design, develop, and maintain web applications deployed on cloud infrastructure. This role involves collaboration with product managers, technical leads, and developers to ensure successful implementations. Responsibilities include working with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and user-friendly solutions, translating client requirements into functional web applications, and leveraging cloud platforms for building secure and high-performing applications. The ideal candidate will have experience with Angular, Java/Python/JavaScript, and one public cloud provider (preferably GCP).

Must have:

3+ years Angular experience
Experience with Java, Python, or JavaScript
Public cloud provider experience (GCP preferred)
Design, develop, and maintain web applications
Collaborate with cross-functional teams

Good to have:

Google Cloud Platform certification
Experience with geographically dispersed teams
Understanding of authentication and authorization
Knowledge of cloud marketplace differentiators

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
3 years of experience with Angular.
Experience with one or more languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or similar.
Experience with one public cloud provider, such as Google Cloud Platform.

Preferred qualifications:

Google Cloud Platform or any other cloud certification.
Experience working with a cross-functional, geographically dispersed team and customer base and collaborating with channel partners, systems integrators, and third-party developers to deliver high-impact solutions.
Understanding of authentication and authorization in web applications.
Demonstrated understanding of the broader cloud marketplace and the differentiators of various cloud offerings.
Ability to learn, understand, and work with new and emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the cloud/IT technology space.
