Your role:

  • Leverage your clinical expertise in the software test lab for medical devices.
  • Bridge the gap between clinical practice and software engineering by validating device functionality against real-world clinical use cases, ensuring safety, usability, and compliance with healthcare standards.
  • Interface between clinicians, engineers, and regulatory teams.
  • Track new product functionality. Maintain and enhance testing infrastructure, integrating new tools and technologies in a continuously evolving environment.

You're the right fit if:

  • You are pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Health Science or related degrees.
  • You have knowledge of patient care workflows, medical terminology, and regulatory compliance.
  • You are clinically trained but passionate about technology and quality assurance.
  • You are detail-oriented, methodical, and safety-focused and comfortable working in a regulated lab environment.
  • You are an effective communicator with a curious mindset and a drive to improve patient outcomes through safer, more reliable devices.

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

Philips Transparency Details

The hourly pay range for this position is Bachelor Level: $29-32 an hour: Masters Level $33-$46 an hour plus overtime eligible. The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.

At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.

Company relocation benefits will not be provided for this position.  For this position, you must reside in or within commuting distance to Cambridge, MA**.
