Job Description

The Community Coordinator at Lionbridge Games manages the external playtesting candidate pool. Responsibilities include recruiting participants, managing communication, coordinating testing sessions with the Playtest management team, and supervising in-lab sessions. The role requires collaboration with internal teams to ensure candidate quality, continuous improvement of recruitment processes, and acting as a brand ambassador for Lionbridge Games and Gametester.gg. The ideal candidate possesses experience in organizing playtesting sessions (or similar), strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and a passion for gaming. The position demands excellent communication skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and flexibility to work non-standard hours, including weekends.

En tant que Coordonnateur(trice) de communauté chez Lionbridge Games, vous serez responsable du recrutement, de l’organisation et de la gestion de notre bassin externe de testeurs, incluant la sélection des participants, la communication des invitations et la planification des sessions avec l'équipe de gestion des tests. Vous participerez également à la supervision des sessions en laboratoire, au besoin.

 

En collaboration avec notre équipe interne, vous veillerez à ce que chaque test dispose de candidats qualifiés répondant aux exigences des clients. Vous contribuerez aussi à l’amélioration continue de nos processus de recrutement et de planification.

Poste permanent, à temps plein et hybride, basé au studio de Brossard, QC.

 

 

Ce que vous ferez :
•    Sourcing de talents : Rechercher et établir des liens avec des candidats potentiels pour divers rôles, y compris des joueurs communautaires à distance, des testeurs en laboratoire et d'autres collaborateurs, en utilisant divers outils, plateformes sociales et sites de recrutement.

•    Développement de communauté : Diriger l'expansion et l’animation de la communauté afin de favoriser l'engagement et la participation.
•    Campagnes de recrutement : Concevoir et mettre en œuvre des campagnes de recrutement créatives adaptées à différents projets pour atteindre et cibler efficacement les meilleurs candidats.
•    Planification et coordination : Organiser et gérer les horaires des sessions de test et d'autres tâches, en garantissant un bon déroulement et une participation optimale.

•    Supervision des sessions : Aider à organiser, surveiller et assurer le bon déroulement des sessions de tests en laboratoire lorsque requis.
•    Collaboration : Travailler en étroite collaboration avec les équipes de projet pour comprendre leurs besoins spécifiques et assurer un approvisionnement constant en candidats qualifiés.
•    Promotion de la marque : Agir en tant qu’ambassadeur(drice) de Lionbridge Games et Gametester.gg, en promouvant l’entreprise et ses projets au sein et au-delà de la communauté, afin d'attirer les meilleurs talents et renforcer sa réputation.

 

Pour réussir à ce poste, vous devrez posséder :

  • Expérience dans l'organisation et la gestion de sessions de tests de jeu (ou expérience similaire)
  • Excellentes compétences analytiques et en résolution de problèmes
  • Capacité à travailler de manière autonome et en équipe
  • Grande attention aux détails et capacité à gérer plusieurs tâches simultanément
  • Passion pour le jeu vidéo et bonne connaissance du processus de développement des jeux
  • Disponibilité pour travailler selon des horaires flexibles, y compris les fins de semaine lorsque nécessaire
  • Excellentes compétences en communication écrite et orale, avec la capacité de poser des questions et partager des informations de manière claire et concise
  • Maîtrise de l'anglais obligatoire
  • Esprit d’initiative et autonomie
  • Maîtrise intermédiaire de la suite Microsoft Office
  • Connaissance des technologies et du matériel de jeu (PC gaming, consoles de dernière génération)

Community Coordinator

 

As a Community Coordinator at Lionbridge Games, you will be responsible for sourcing, organizing and coordinating all aspects of our external playtesting candidate pool, including recruiting participants, preparing test invite communications, and coordinating and confirming session scheduling with the Playtest management team, as well as assisting in the supervision and coordination of in-lab sessions, as needed.

 

You will work closely with our internal team to ensure that the candidate pool for each test meets the highest standards of quality tailored to the client’s specific needs. Additionally, you will assist in continuously improving our playtesting recruitment and scheduling methodologies and processes, to ensure that we operate in the most secure and efficient manner.

This is a full-time, permanent, hybrid position at studio in Brossard, QC.

 


What You Will Do:

•    Talent Sourcing: Proactively source and engage with potential talent for an array of roles including remote games community-based players, in-lab playtesters, and other similar taskers using diverse tools, social media platforms, and recruitment websites.
•    Community Building: Take the lead in expanding and nurturing the community, fostering an environment that encourages participation and engagement. 
•    Recruitment Campaigns: Design and implement creative recruitment campaigns tailored to different projects, ensuring a wide reach and effective targeting of suitable candidates. 

•    Scheduling and Coordination: Organize and manage schedules for playtesting sessions and other tasks, ensuring smooth operations and optimal participation.
•    Session Proctoring: Help organize, monitor, and deliver on playtest session supervision when required.
•    Collaboration: Work closely with project teams to understand their specific needs and ensure a consistent supply of qualified candidates. 

•    Brand Advocacy: Act as a brand ambassador for Lionbridge Games and Gametester.gg, promoting the company and its projects within and beyond the community to attract top talent and build a positive reputation.
 
To Be Successful, You Will Have:
•    Experience in organizing and conducting playtesting sessions preferred (or similar)  
•    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 
•    Ability to work independently and as part of a team 
•    Attention to detail and ability to multitask 
•    Passion for gaming and knowledge of game development process 
•    Flexibility to work non-standard hours when necessary, weekend work is to be expected
•    Outstanding communication and writing skills, including ability to ask questions or share information with clarity and brevity. 
•    Fluency in English is mandatory 
•    Be a motivated self-starter 
•    Moderate Microsoft Office suite familiarity a must
•    Tech literacy is preferred (Gaming PC’s, current-gen hardware knowledge)
