The Emergency Response Team (ERT) and Operational Compliance is the first line of defense within Nasdaq Market Platform, supporting Nordic/Baltic exchanges and Nasdaq Clearing. This fixed-term senior specialist role in Vilnius focuses on ensuring compliance with regulations like MiFID II, DORA, and EMIR. Key responsibilities include monitoring outsourcing agreements, supporting regulatory assessments, maintaining business continuity plans, and collaborating with compliance and risk management functions.
Must have:
  • Monitor and review outsourcing agreements, SLAs, and exit plans
  • Support regulatory assessments, including DORA, EMIR and other relevant EU financial sector regulations
  • Maintain and update business continuity plans
  • Produce and contribute to various reports on resilience metrics and SLA performance
  • Collaborate with the 2nd line Compliance and Risk Management functions
  • Assist with contract and legal documentation reviews
  • Contribute to process improvements, internal rule updates and cross-functional alignment
  • Coordinate requests from and meetings with various internal and external stakeholders

About the team:

The Emergency Response Team (ERT) and Operational Compliance comprises of senior specialists managing Operational Compliance and incidents is the 1st line of defence. The team is organised within Nasdaq Market Platform division and supports the activities for the Nasdaq Nordic/Baltic exchanges and Nasdaq Clearing. The Operational Compliance team ensures compliance with external regulations such as MiFID II, DORA and EMIR. ERT and Operational Compliance also works with incidents to capture and take action on assessments, and outsourcing/service agreement management.

The team is dispersed in several countries. We are now looking for a fixed term intermediate/senior profile for Nasdaq Clearing part of the team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and review outsourcing agreements, SLAs, and exit plans to ensure timely updates
  • Support regulatory assessments, including DORA, EMIR and other relevant EU financial sector regulations
  • Maintain and update business continuity plans, ensuring ownership and sign-off across teams
  • Produce and contribute to various reports on resilience metrics and SLA performance
  • Collaborate with the 2nd line Compliance and Risk Management functions for further validations and reviews
  • Assist with contract and legal documentation reviews
  • Contribute to process improvements, internal rule updates and cross-functional alignment
  • Coordinate requests from and meetings with various internal and external stakeholders

Your Profile

  • Several years of experience in a regulatory, compliance, or legal support role—ideally within the financial sector.
  • Strong interest in EU regulations and ability to interpret complex regulatory frameworks.
  • Experience with outsourcing, third-party risk, and/or contract management.
  • Self-driven, structured, and comfortable working across multiple domains in a fast-paced international organisation.
  • Possess strong attention to detail
  • Fluent in English

  • Salary range is 3800-4100 EU/month, depending on the candidate's experience and skills
