Hi, I’m Kieran Smith, Computer Vision Engineering Discipline Lead here at Hawk-Eye Innovations, and I’m excited to invite you to consider joining our Tracking Tooling Squad as a Computer Vision Engineer.
If you’re eager to grow your career in sports technology and play a part in developing the tools that power some of the most advanced tracking systems in the world, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
As a Computer Vision Engineer within the Tracking Tooling Squad, you’ll help develop and maintain tools and applications that support multiple tracking teams across Hawk-Eye.
You’ll work on a wide variety of projects, from maintaining and modernising legacy systems to building new cross-platform applications in C++. You’ll contribute to visualisation components that help engineers and analysts make sense of tracking data and support external visualisation projects, such as collaborating with the LTA to help coaches and players understand their data.
You’ll work closely with a small, collaborative team where you’ll gain ownership quickly, influence design decisions, and contribute to products used across sports such as football, tennis, cricket, and basketball.
At Hawk-Eye, we thrive on collaboration, curiosity, and practical innovation. Our team culture is built on openness, shared learning, and a genuine passion for technology and sport.
As a Computer Vision Engineer, you’ll be encouraged to explore ideas, take ownership of projects, and work closely with talented teammates who will help you grow.
While not required, experience or knowledge in any of the following areas would be a plus:
