Sr Software Engineer

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Sr Software Engineer to design, develop, code, test, and document software systems and applications. The role involves modeling, designing, and coding activities using structured methods, preparing design documentation, and executing various test plans. The engineer will analyze software requirements to ensure feasibility within quality, time, and cost constraints. Telecommuting is permitted anywhere within the U.S.

Must Have

• Perform design, development, coding, testing, research, programming and documentation for software systems, applications and/or operating systems.

• Masters degree + 1 year experience or Bachelors degree + 3 years experience.

Job Description

• Perform modeling, designing, and coding activities, employing structured methods.
• Prepare design documentation for all levels of the software development process.
• Create and execute unit, integration, system, regression, performance, load and acceptance test plans and scripts.
• Use software system testing procedures, and document results.
• Analyze software requirements to determine feasibility of design within quality assurance, time and cost constraints.
• Telecommuting permitted anywhere within the U.S.

Target Base Salary Range: $108,077 to $150,000 per year.
