About the role

Within Wolters Kluwer Schulinck, we are looking for a versatile and committed consultant who supports our municipal clients in digitizing application processes. In addition to working closely with clients, you also collaborate with our legal subject matter editors, product management, or IT. You are responsible for designing, configuring, managing, and optimizing digital application forms within the social domain (e.g., special assistance applications, Wmo applications, etc.). This role requires a unique combination of technical skills (think logic and data flows) and consultancy skills (client contact, analysis, advice).

What will you do?

  • Design, build, and manage digital application forms for municipal services.
  • Translate complex client questions into logical, digital processes (a bit deeper than just "if this, then that" logic).
  • Advise our municipal clients on the best digital solution for their citizens.
  • Test, document, and optimize forms and workflows.
  • Act as a bridge between client, development, and internal stakeholders.
  • You provide input to the development team, which further develops its own platform. You think along with customers for new developments and help with testing and documenting newly delivered functionalities.
  • You work intensively with and sometimes on-site at our municipal clients to achieve the best digital solutions for their citizens.
  • You accompany account management for instructions and product demonstrations.
  • If you enjoy it, you can also play a role in our substantive Webinars and/or client days.

What do you bring?

  • HBO work and thinking level, preferably in Informatics, Business Administration, or similar.
  • Strong analytical skills and a sense of logic.
  • We are not looking for a programmer or developer, but someone with experience/affinity with low-code/no-code platforms.
  • Excellent communication skills and customer focus.
  • Experience with municipal processes in the social domain is a plus.

What do we offer you?

  • A varied position with societal impact.
  • A 36-hour work week (32 hours is negotiable);
  • 8% holiday allowance and an additional monthly 4% 'PKB' bonus (Personal Choice Budget);
  • An attractive profit-sharing scheme of approximately 10%;
  • A significant contribution to your pension (as an employer, we contribute 2/3);
  • Extensive opportunities for personal development and growth, both in the Netherlands and abroad;
  • A good balance between working from home and working at our office in Venlo (Tues & Thurs).

Applicants may be required to appear onsite at a Wolters Kluwer office as part of the recruitment process.
