Job Description

The Credit & Collections Analyst will ensure compliance with credit management policies, monitor accounts receivable aging reports, and identify delinquent accounts for prioritized collection efforts. Responsibilities include generating reports on receivables aging and collection performance, analyzing trends to improve credit and collections management, and evaluating customer creditworthiness through investigations and sales order analysis. The role also involves recommending credit limits and payment terms, executing timely collections for overdue accounts, and supporting process improvements under the guidance of leadership.

Job Description

  • Implement Credit Policies: Ensure full compliance with local and regional credit management policies and procedures across all relevant business units.

  • Accounts Receivable Monitoring: Regularly review and monitor the accounts receivable aging report. Identify delinquent accounts and prioritize collection efforts accordingly.

  • Reporting and Analysis: Generate and maintain accurate reports on receivables aging, collection performance, and outstanding balances. Analyze trends and identify opportunities to improve credits and collections management.

  • Credit Risk Assessment: Evaluate customer creditworthiness by conducting credit investigations and sales order analysis.. Recommend appropriate credit limits and payment terms in line with company guidelines.

  • Collections and Dunning: Execute timely collection activities for overdue accounts, including the preparation and issuance of dunning letters. Follow up consistently until resolution or recovery of outstanding balances.

  • Process Support: Assist in improving and enforcing credit and collections processes under the guidance of the Collections Process and Policy Leaders. Support any additional initiatives or tasks that enhance the effectiveness of the collection lifecycle.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of any degree with high levels of interpersonal communication and process orientation.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills 

  • Knowledge of credit laws, regulations, and compliance standards is a plus

  • Proficiency in Google applications such as Google Sheet, AppScript, Google Docs and Slides

  • Desire to create an impact, in joining a fast-growing organization and working with an agile team
