As the Cluster Director of Brand & Growth, you will be the strategic custodian for the Raffles & Fairmont Doha brands, ensuring all marketing and communications initiatives align with Accor's global and regional standards. You will serve as the primary liaison with Accor's global and regional brand, marketing, and corporate communications teams, driving brand integrity, awareness, engagement, and growth across all hotel experiences. This role involves leading the strategic development, implementation, and performance of integrated marketing communication plans, overseeing external agencies, managing key partnerships, and maximizing campaign impact to shape the hotel's perception in local and international markets.
Must have:

Job Description

As the Cluster Director of Brand & Growth, you are the strategic custodian of the Raffles & Fairmont Doha brands, ensuring that all marketing and communications initiatives are aligned with Accor's global and regional standards. Serving as the primary liaison with Accor’s global and regional brand, marketing, and corporate communications teams, you ensure brand integrity while driving awareness, engagement, and growth across all hotel experiences.

You will lead the strategic development, implementation, and performance of all integrated marketing communication plans while overseeing external agencies, managing key partnerships, and maximizing the impact of every campaign. You’ll play a central role in shaping the perception of the hotel in both local and international markets, while supporting sustainability and community.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Brand & Marketing Leadership

  • Uphold and elevate Raffles & Fairmont Doha’s brand positioning across all touchpoints
  • Ensure alignment with global and regional brand standards in all campaigns and creative executions
  • Serve as the key contact for Accor’s brand and marketing teams at both regional and global levels.
  • Oversee marketing and communication plans in collaboration with internal stakeholders across Rooms and Food & Beverage

Agency & Partnership Management

  • Manage and lead relationships with external PR, creative, and media-buying agencies
  • Oversee development of marketing initiatives across digital, traditional, and experiential platforms
  • Develop and maintain strategic partnerships that amplify brand visibility and drive sustained engagement

Public Relations & Influencer Strategy

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with global, regional, and local media
  • Develop annual PR strategy to support business goals, key launches, and seasonal campaigns
  • Plan and execute media familiarization trips in partnership with Accor’s global network
  • Oversee influencer strategy, ensuring alignment with brand values and ROI
  • Act as official hotel spokesperson when appointed, including during crisis situations
  • Maintain and curate all press materials, including executive bios, press releases, and image libraries

Advertising & Campaign Execution

  • Develop and implement media plans that align with business objectives and brand guidelines
  • Oversee the creation of compelling creative assets and ensure compliance with brand standards
  • Drive advertising campaigns for Rooms, Food & Beverage, Spa, and other offerings

Community Engagement & Social Responsibility

  • Identify and activate sponsorships and partnerships that align with hotel positioning
  • Support and promote Accor's Corporate Social Responsibility programs
  • Drive community relations and engagement strategies that build long-term goodwill and visibility

Brand Collaterals & Visual Identity

  • Serve as the brand guardian across all hotel departments and touchpoints
  • Lead the development of photography, videography, and design assets for hotel-wide use
  • Maintain an organized archival and PR library, including materials showcasing the hotel's legacy
  • Support Sales, Events, and Operational teams with on-brand collateral to enhance engagement and conversion

Internal Communications & Talent Engagement

  • Collaborate with Talent & Culture to align internal communications with broader brand messaging
  • Support employee engagement programs through media, awards submissions, and internal storytelling

Other Key Responsibilities

  • Champion the hotel’s participation in regional and global brand campaigns and initiatives
  • Ensure the hotel’s loyalty programs are effectively utilized as promotional and engagement platforms

Critical Competencies

  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • High-level ability to liaise and negotiate with global/regional offices, media, and suppliers
  • Ability to manage complexity and deliver results in a fast-paced, luxury environment
  • Deep understanding of brand storytelling, luxury hospitality trends, and audience behavior

This role is pivotal in positioning Raffles & Fairmont Doha as the leading destination for luxury, innovation, and experience in the region, while setting new benchmarks in hospitality brand growth.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree in Marketing / Communications or equivalent
  • Minimum of 8 years in Brand Management / Marketing Communications / Public Relations ideally within luxury hospitality or high-end lifestyle brands. Relevant experience in hospitality industry is an advantage.
  • Proven track record in multi-channel marketing, PR, brand partnerships, and agency management
  • Verbal and written fluency in English. Ability to speak additional languages and basic understanding of local language are an advantage.
  • Experience working with global brand standards, preferably in an international hospitality group
  • Strong understanding of luxury branding, consumer behavior, and market positioning across GCC and global markets
  • Skilled in media planning, digital strategy, influencer engagement, and visual branding
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
