The Retail Space Designer is responsible for bringing our commercial spaces to life through innovative, brand-aligned concepts. As a key member of the store design team, you will play an essential role in developing immersive customer experiences by translating brand identity into appealing physical spaces. This involves creating detailed designs, 3D renderings, and mood boards, collaborating with cross-functional teams like visual merchandising and construction, and ensuring brand consistency across all stores. You will also research and recommend design elements, staying updated on industry trends to propose fresh ideas and support prototype development.

The Retail Space Designer is responsible for bringing our commercial spaces to life through innovative, brand-aligned concepts. As a key member of the store design team, you will play an essential role in developing immersive customer experiences by translating brand identity into appealing physical spaces.

How will you support the team?

  • Develops creative store designs that reflect brand aesthetics, functionality, and customer experience objectives.
  • Collaborates with the store design concept manager to conceptualize and execute store layouts, displays, and visual elements.
  • Produces detailed drawings, 3D renderings, and mood boards to effectively communicate design concepts.
  • Works closely with cross-functional teams, including visual merchandising, store operations, and construction, to ensure impeccable execution of design projects.
  • Helps maintain brand consistency across all stores through design guidelines and specifications.
  • Researches and recommends all design elements in collaboration with the senior project manager for submissions and purchasing decisions.
  • Collaborates with visual merchandising teams to seamlessly integrate displays into the overall store design.
  • Stays updated on design trends and innovations to propose new ideas for stores.
  • Supports prototype development and makes recommendations for aesthetic updates.
  • Coordinates technical specifications and concept intent with external consultants.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in interior design, visual communication, industrial design, or a related field
  • Expertise in interior design, materials, and visual storytelling
  • 5+ years of experience in retail design or visual merchandising and a strong portfolio of immersive retail projects
  • Good understanding of digital integration, customer psychology, and emerging trends in retail
  • Proficiency in design tools like Adobe Creative Suite or 3D rendering software
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey design concepts to stakeholders
