Job Description

The Credit Manager will lead a global Credit & Collections team, managing a significant AR portfolio. Key responsibilities include approving customer credit lines, ensuring collection metrics are met, and collaborating with various internal and external partners. The role involves monitoring credit holds, preparing collection forecasts, and providing periodic reports to senior management. Additionally, the manager will coordinate AR factoring with partner banks, contributing to the financial health and operational efficiency of the company.
Must have:
  • Manage a team of Credit & Collection Analysts
  • Review and approve customer credit lines
  • Ensure collection metrics (e.g., DSO) meet company guidelines
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners
  • Monitor and resolve daily credit holds
  • Prepare and update weekly collection forecasts
  • Provide periodic reports to Senior Management
  • Coordinate periodic AR factoring with partner banks
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, business administration, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in credit analysis, lending, or credit risk
  • 5+ years of experience in management or supervisory roles
  • Strong skills in financial statement analysis, credit scoring models, and risk assessment
  • Experience with forecasting AR collections
  • Strong understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley financial controls
  • Ability to communicate credit decisions clearly and collaborate
  • Proven ability to lead and mentor credit analysts or collections teams
  • Experience with AR factoring
  • High level of accuracy in documentation, reporting, and compliance tracking
  • Ability to maintain composure during a high-volume environment
Good to have:
  • Experience with Oracle, Highradius, Credit Risk Monitor, and/or Creditsafe

Your Team, Your Impact

Credit & Collections is responsible for the extension of credit and payment terms to customers including the prompt collection of billings and periodic forecasting of receipts.

What You Can Expect

  • Manage a team of Credit & Collection Analysts handling a global AR portfolio of $1B+
  • Review and approve customer credit lines
  • Ensure collection metrics (e.g., DSO) meet company guidelines
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners including customers, Sales Operations, Treasury, Accounting, Logistics, and 3rd-party credit bureaus
  • Monitor and resolve daily credit holds
  • Prepare and update weekly collection forecasts
  • Provide periodic reports to Senior Management, including the AR Allowance, AR Reclass, AR Reconciliations and other AR metric reports
  • Coordinate periodic AR factoring with partner banks

What We're Looking For

  • A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, business administration, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in credit analysis, lending, or credit risk
  • 5+ years of experience in management or supervisory roles
  • Strong skills in financial statement analysis, credit scoring models, and risk assessment are essential
  • Experience with forecasting AR collections
  • Strong understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley financial controls
  • Ability to communicate credit decisions clearly and collaborate with internal teams (sales, treasury, accounting) and external customers
  • Proven ability to lead and mentor credit analysts or collections teams
  • Experience with AR factoring including the collection of AR on behalf of the bank
  • Experience with Oracle, Highradius, Credit Risk Monitor, and/or Creditsafe a plus
  • High level of accuracy in documentation, reporting, and compliance tracking.
  • Ability to maintain composure during a high-volume environment
