Job Description

The Customer Success Manager will work with the Japan team to implement integration and automation solutions for end customers. They will offer guidance on market strategies, product adoption, and planning, as well as guide customers to maximize their investment in Workato. The role involves maintaining strong business relationships, acting as a trusted advisor, and achieving revenue retention goals, while also providing insights to improve the Workato product and serving as the customer's advocate. This role is for those who enjoy working on product launches and developing products over time.
Must have:
  • 5+ years of experience in consulting/product management/sales operations.
  • Experience working directly with customers and retaining them.
  • Knowledge of integration technology.
  • Fluent in Japanese and English.

Responsibilities

We are looking for an exceptional Senior Customer Success Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will work with our whole Japan team to roll out integration and automation capabilities to their end customers. You will provide guidance on Go To Market strategies, Adoption Planning, and Product Roadmaps. You will share best practices that help grow our customers' business and expand our relationships with them.  If you like working on product launches and developing products over time, this is the job for you!

In this role, you will also be responsible to:

  • Help our Japan team implement integration and automation solutions.

  • Offer advice on market strategies, product adoption, and planning.

  • Guide customers to maximize their investment in Workato during onboarding, implementation, and expansion phases.

  • Maintain strong business relationships with customers in Japan.

  • Act as a trusted advisor on pricing, marketing, and sales.

  • Work with executives to meet key objectives and measure success.

  • Achieve revenue retention goals.

  • Assess and prevent renewal risks.

  • Conduct regular business reviews to align with customer goals and promote product growth.

  • Handle any customer issues quickly and effectively.

  • Provide insights to improve the Workato product.

  • Serve as the customer's advocate within Workato.

Requirements

Qualifications / Experience / Technical Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

  • At least 5 years of experience in consulting, product management, or sales operations.

  • Experience working directly with customers and retaining them.

  • Knowledge of integration technology.

  • Fluent in Japanese and English.

  • Strong customer empathy and communication skills.

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-changing environment.

  • Passion for automation and its business value.
