Job Summary
The Forklift Driver is responsible for safely operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment to move, load, unload, and store products within the warehouse. This role ensures inventory accuracy, supports production and shipping needs, and maintains a clean and organized work environment. Key responsibilities include operating equipment, handling shipments, transporting materials, performing inventory tasks, and maintaining a safe and organized workspace.
Must Have
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload inbound/outbound shipments according to company and safety standards.
- Transport materials to designated areas within the warehouse or production floor.
- Perform pallet picks, put-aways, replenishments, and staging of materials.
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report any mechanical issues.
- Follow inventory control procedures to maintain accuracy.
- Follow all OSHA, safety, and company policies at all times.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain through company training).
Good to Have
- 1+ year of forklift or warehouse experience preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory as needed.
- Maintain clean and organized work areas.
- Support warehouse team members with general labor tasks when needed.
