Job Description

The Customer Support Associate will work with customers through chat, email and phone. You will answer questions, make changes to insurance policies, and counsel customers on their insurance needs. You will ensure that customer needs are taken care of in the first interaction and that you exceed their expectations. This is a remote position, so reliable internet and a quiet, distraction-free workspace are necessary. You will report directly to the Customer Support Team Lead.

Responsibilities

  • Manage existing customer accounts for Personal Insurance policies by phone, email, text and chat using several insurance company systems
  • Explain insurance products to customers using a consultative and empathetic approach
  • Assist 3rd parties with policy documentation and changes
  • Work in a fun and collaborative team environment

Qualifications

  • Property & Casualty insurance license *REQUIRED*
  • 1 year of customer service experience 
  • Previous call center experience
  • Empathetic towards customer needs
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment and adaptability to change
  • The working hours for this role will be 9:30am - 6pm MST
  • Spanish Speaking a plus
