Must have:
  • 1-3 years in customs brokerage or related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and customs-related software.
  • Excellent communication skills in Hebrew and English.
Good to have:
  • Further education or certifications in customs or trade.

As a Customs House Broker Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and legal compliance of customs clearance processes. You'll support efficient import and export operations, helping customers navigate the complexities of international trade. This position requires a detail-oriented mindset, strong administrative capabilities, and a passion for delivering outstanding service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute customs clearance processes for import, export, and transit shipments in compliance with Israeli and international regulations.

  • Prepare and submit accurate customs documentation and declarations.

  • Coordinate with internal teams, clients, carriers, and customs authorities to ensure timely clearance of goods.

  • Track and monitor the status of shipments to proactively resolve issues and minimize delays.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of customs laws, tariff classifications, and regulatory changes.

  • Assist in audits, internal reviews, and compliance reporting.

  • Support daily administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and record maintenance.

  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of documentation to avoid penalties or delays.

Who We’re Looking For

  • Experience: 1–3 years in customs brokerage, freight forwarding, or international trade preferred but if you are looking for your first job - that's the perfect opportunity to join a global company. Fresh graduates, or max. 1 year of experience are also welcome.

  • Education: Bachelor degree in related field; further education or certifications in customs or international trade are a plus.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and customs-related software (e.g., Unifreight, import/export systems).

  • Excellent communication skills in Hebrew and English (spoken and written).

  • Knowledge of Israeli customs regulations and HS Code classification is a strong advantage.

  • Mindset: Team-oriented, and eager to learn and grow within a fast-paced global environment.

  • Proactive and open-minded.

  • Ability to handle large volumes of information and work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to learn quickly is the top priority.
