Job Summary
The Asset Maintenance Manager at APM Terminals, part of A.P. Moller-Maersk Group, is responsible for the safe and efficient execution of maintenance activities on shuttle carriers and mobile equipment. This role involves leading a team, achieving performance targets, developing maintenance strategies, maintaining asset integrity, optimizing resource utilization, and controlling costs. The position requires a strong commitment to safety, LEAN principles, and continuous improvement within a dynamic learning environment.
Must Have
- Accountable for safe and efficient execution of planned preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Lead to maintain a strong safety culture and safeguard technicians.
- Achieve performance targets by completing maintenance and inspection activities efficiently.
- Develop and continuously improve maintenance strategies for all equipment.
- Maintain asset integrity through risk-based planning and execution.
- Optimize resource utilization by coordinating with planners and managing contracts.
- Control maintenance costs by preparing budgets and monitoring expenditures.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in operational asset management.
- Engineering diploma on Mechanical, Electromechanical or Electrotechnical.
- Strong leadership and motivational skills.
- Understanding of Asset Maintenance planning metrics, principles, processes and requirements.
- Practical, planning and work scheduling capabilities.
- Understanding of CMMS.
- Strong communication skills and ability to influence.

Key of responsibilities:
- Accountable for the safe and efficient execution of all planned preventive and corrective maintenance activities on the shuttle's carriers and mobile equipment portfolio
- Lead by example to maintain a strong safety culture and safeguard technicians within the team.
- Achieve performance targets by completing maintenance and inspection activities efficiently and ensuring accurate recording and reporting of equipment KPIs.
- Develop and continuously improve maintenance strategies for all equipment, addressing repetitive failures and aligning with global asset maintenance requirements.
- Maintain asset integrity through risk-based planning and execution of preventive and corrective actions, considering equipment age and operational impact.
- Optimize resource utilization by coordinating with planners, managing contracts, and ensuring adequate spare parts inventory while developing team skills and succession plans.
- Control maintenance costs by preparing budgets, monitoring expenditures, and implementing cost-reduction initiatives without compromising safety or performance.
We are looking for:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in operational asset management
- Engineering diploma on Mechanical, Electromechanical or Electrotechnical
- Strong leadership and motivational skills
- Experience in a strong service oriented, stakeholder-management-required environment.
- Understanding of Asset Maintenance planning metrics, principles, processes and requirements

- Understanding of CMMS
