Must Have
- Verify documentation against current customs legislation and report inspection results.
- Verify physical merchandise matches documented records to ensure compliance.
- Present documents to transporters for entry notification via the Muisca system for exports.
- Gather all original and/or copy supporting documents for inspection processes.
- Verify merchandise meets legal requirements (labeling, serials, information) during logistics support or pre-inspection.
- Be present at inspections with authorities, sign acts, and report discrepancies before closing.
- Collect certificates, approvals, phytosanitary documents, and pre-inspection acts from entities.
- Verify generated inspections (physical-documentary) in the customs IT system and present documents to customs.
- Generate daily reports of inspections performed in the customs agency process.
- Provide accompaniment during presentations to different governmental entities.
- Sign internal and external documents during customs inspection to be notified of results.
- 4 years of experience in similar positions.
- Experience in customs inspection before government entities (Anti-narcotics, DIAN, Invima, ports, Free Zones).
- Previous experience in cargo recognitions (cargo reviews).
- Availability of own vehicle (motorcycle).
- Knowledge of systems: OpenComex, LegisComex, Muisca, Siglo XXI, VUCE, OT Platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
- Verify that the documentation for each process submitted for inspection corresponds to the requirements established in current customs legislation and report the results of the inspection diligence to your immediate hierarchical superior.
- Verify that the merchandise, physically found at the time of logistical support or pre-inspection, corresponds to what is registered in the documents, ensuring compliance with current customs regulations.
- Present the documents to transporters (airlines) for entry notification through the Muisca system, for export operations.
- Gather all supporting documents, original and/or copies, to present for inspection processes before the authorities.
- Verify that the merchandise complies with legal requirements such as labeling, serials, information, among others; ensuring conformity with the requirements and contributing to the timely identification of corrections needed to continue the operation, during logistical support or pre-inspection.
- Be present in the inspection processes with the authorities, sign the corresponding inspection acts, and report to the immediate hierarchical superior in case of discrepancies before the closing of the diligence, to take appropriate measures.
- Collect from the respective entities the certificates, approvals, phytosanitary documents, pre-inspection acts, for each export process according to its nature or modality and send them by email to the client if necessary.
- Verify in the customs IT system the generated inspections (physical-documentary) according to the established criteria and present the respective supporting documents to customs.
- Generate daily reports of inspections carried out in the customs agency process.
- Provide accompaniment in the presentation to the different governmental entities.
- Sign internal and external documents during the customs inspection diligence that allow notification of its results.
What we are looking for:
- 4 years of experience in similar positions.
