Data Analyst/Developer Jr.

The Data Analyst/Developer Jr. will be responsible for understanding business needs, building and maintaining data models, and actively participating in the development team. Key responsibilities include planning, estimating, and completing backlog items, effective communication, and collaborative teamwork. The role requires a proactive approach to business processes and database strategies, along with basic programming knowledge in Cobol, Algol, and Java. Candidates should have a higher education in IT and 0-2 years of experience.

Must Have

• Be proactive regarding business needs, processes, and database strategies.
• Basic knowledge in programming languages (Cobol, Algol, Java).
• Higher education degree in Information Technology (at least 360 hours) or postgraduate degree in IT.
• 0-2 years of experience.

What success looks like in this role:

• Understand business needs, backlog items, requirements, and software architectures with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Requirements Analysts, and Software/Solution Architects.
• Build and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models for software and other related analysis and design artifacts, according to current methodology.
• Join the development team, taking on, planning, estimating, and completing backlog work items in each sprint, promptly signaling risks of delay, idleness, and technical impediments.
• Possess oral and written communication skills to gather input and effectively report the progress and results of activities.
• Possess the ability to work in a team, demonstrating good relationships, empathy, tolerance, and collaboration.
• Be organized and able to self-manage time and activities.
• Be proactive and capable of making timely decisions within your scope of action.
• Possess the ability to work under pressure.
• Be proactive regarding business needs, processes, and database strategies.
• Basic knowledge in programming languages, with emphasis on Cobol, Algol, and Java.

You will be successful in this role if you have:

• Higher education degree in Information Technology, of at least 360 hours.
• Higher education degree in any field accompanied by a postgraduate degree (specialization, master's, or doctorate) in Information Technology, of at least 360 hours.
• 0-2 years of experience.
