About the Role:

If you’re analytical, detail-oriented, and organized, but also excited to roll up your sleeves and get your hands dirty, you’d fit right in. The role will require rotational working hours onsite to ensure smooth operational running of the 24/7/365 real-time setup, and collaboration with a global team.

You would also work closely with the Research & Development teams to power our in-house Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence models by generating high-quality training datasets. This requires an understanding of data requirements, data definitions, edge cases, tooling, and review processes.

In addition to that, you would also work closely with the Product team to run proof of concepts and experiments, which guide the direction of our Safety product suite, particularly in the areas of risk identification, mitigation, and reduction. You would also contribute to analyzing data to improve the user experience for our customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and annotate images and video data to support AI and safety features.
  • Identify and tag risks using both contextual knowledge and standardized instructions.
  • Analyze data and participate in process pilots to enhance products.
  • Maintain high standards of tagging accuracy and SLA compliance.
  • Collaborate with Product and R&D teams to generate high-quality datasets.
  • To be comfortable working on multiple projects and tools, along with time management.
  • Provide feedback for existing processes and tools that help in improving the accuracy and quality of deep learning models, considering customer demand.
  • Uphold confidentiality and compliance with company standards.

During Probation, Expect To

  • Participate in comprehensive training to understand Motive’s products, in-house projects, workflows, and company values.
  • Integrate with the team and develop knowledge of work ethics and product features through hands-on experience and collaboration.
  • Undergo regular performance reviews focused on meeting defined KPIs for annotation quality, accuracy, productivity, and process adherence.
  • Receive feedback and coaching to improve multitasking abilities and deliver consistently high-quality results.
  • Successful completion of probation depends on consistently meeting these standards; failure to do so may result in an extension of probation or discontinuation of employment.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Management, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Up to two years of relevant experience, suitable for entry-level and early-career professionals.
  • Demonstrates attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and an eagerness for continuous growth.
  • Basic understanding of G-Suite preferred.
  • Approaches problem-solving and execution with a customer-centric mindset.
  • Shows genuine interest in learning annotation methodologies and exploring the use of AI and machine learning within the trucking sector.
  • Capable of effective collaboration and coordination within a dynamic, onsite team operating 24/7/365.
  • Proactively takes ownership of responsibilities and adapts well to working on multiple projects and annotation tools simultaneously.
