Job Summary

Lionsgate is seeking a Manager, Global Research to join the Global Distribution Team, reporting to the Executive Director of Research. This role involves working with a collaborative team across US and international offices, touching sales, marketing, finance, corporate, and development. The manager will oversee current series tracking, analyze linear and streaming content performance, deliver key insights for marketing, monitor global streaming trends, support internal subscription channels, prepare presentations, develop new research tools, and assist in managing junior staff.

Must Have

  • Support Lionsgate Global Distribution with reporting and analysis of linear and streaming content performance
  • Track, analyze and report on Lionsgate’s global current and library TV series performance
  • Deliver key insights for marketing materials on TV content and library film
  • Monitor trends in the streaming video space on a global level
  • Support Lionsgate’s internal subscriptions channels teams with reporting and analysis
  • Prepare and present presentations of research results for internal stakeholders
  • Develop and implement new research tools and reports
  • Assist in managing junior staff
  • 3-5 years of related experience
  • Comfortable with math and familiarity with research methodology
  • Comfort with processing desperate datasets
  • Highly collaborative with strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to oversee and coach junior team members
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced deadline driven environment while handling competing priorities
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • A college degree

Summary of Position

Lionsgate is currently seeking a Manager, Global Research to report to the Executive Director of Research on the Global Distribution Team. This position would work with a highly collaborative team that touches all aspects of business in both US and international offices including sales, marketing, finance, corporate and development teams. This person will oversee current series tracking and trends in the linear and streaming space.

Responsibilities

  • Support Global Distribution with reporting and analysis of linear and streaming content performance
  • Track, analyze and report on global current and library TV series performance
  • Deliver key insights for marketing materials on TV content and library film
  • Monitor trends in the streaming video space on a global level
  • Support internal subscriptions channels teams with reporting and analysis
  • Prepare and present presentations of research results for internal stakeholders
  • Develop and implement new research tools and reports
  • Assist in managing junior staff

Qualifications and Skills

  • 3-5 years of related experience preferred
  • Comfortable with math and familiarity with research methodology
  • Comfort with processing desperate datasets
  • Highly collaborative with strong attention to detail and organizational skills
