We are looking for an engineer with strong expertise in energy, indoor climate, daylight, as well as HVAC and ventilation. At AFRY, we develop and advise on buildable, sustainable solutions for future generations. We have many years of expertise in the construction industry in Denmark, and our knowledge spans widely across everything from high-rise buildings, commercial buildings, schools, industrial construction, and much more. You will become part of a strong interdisciplinary environment with competent colleagues who take pride in providing holistic advice.

About the tasks

You will become part of a professional environment focused on competence development, knowledge sharing, and good collaboration. Your daily life will be characterized by skilled colleagues, professional challenges, great autonomy, and empathetic leadership.

In your daily work, you will, among other things, work with:

  • energy frameworks, where the focus is on creating functional and energy-optimal solutions
  • indoor climate simulations for larger commercial buildings, schools, offices, etc.
  • daylight calculation and simulation
  • preparation of technical descriptions
  • providing technical and holistic advice in collaboration with professionally strong colleagues
  • being part of HVAC calculations in collaboration with the team's other engineers
  • you will, together with the team, help ensure that we achieve project planning and time management goals
  • being part of calculations for air volumes for ventilation
  • contributing to the department's professional development.

Qualifications

We imagine that you will fit well into the job if you:

  • are a trained engineer and have specialized in HVAC/energy and indoor climate
  • thrive in an outgoing role and have good communication skills, both oral and written
  • see the opportunities in the interaction between the different interfaces in the projects
  • have experience with project planning in energy and indoor climate, daylight, DGNB, and HVAC
  • can physically attend our Aarhus office at least 3 days a week.
