As a Discipline lead / HVAC Specialist at AFRY, you will be a driving force in developing technical solutions within HVAC and Building Utilities. Must Have

  • Lead engineering and design for HVAC/plumbing on pharma, food, and industrial projects
  • Set the professional direction for HVAC and plumbing in building installations
  • Coordinate budgets, planning, and facilitate interdisciplinary collaboration
  • Maintain contact with partners and clients
  • Ensure good collaboration within project teams and across the organization
  • Participate in professional development and tool development
  • Trained HVAC engineer
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in pharma, food, or similar industries
  • Skilled communicator of technical knowledge
  • Proactive approach to work
  • Technically strong in design of plumbing, ventilation, and cooling
  • Ability to work independently at a high level
  • Comfortable with direct customer contact and delivering high-quality projects

About the tasks

In our HVAC team, we work with disciplinary leadership and technical solutions for industrial buildings. We are a dedicated team that is passionate about delivering future-proof plumbing solutions within water, heating, ventilation, cooling, and rain and wastewater. In your daily life, you will, among other things, work with:

  • taking on the role of Discipline lead within engineering and design on pharma, food, and industrial projects
  • helping to set the professional direction within HVAC and plumbing for building installations
  • having a coordinating role in relation to handling budgets, planning, and facilitating interdisciplinary collaboration
  • being in contact with partners as well as current and potential customers
  • ensuring good collaboration both in project teams and across the organization
  • participating in professional development and contributing to the development of tools in the department.

Qualifications

We imagine that you will fit well into the job if you:

  • are a trained HVAC engineer
  • have a minimum of 5 years of experience within the pharma, food, or similar industries
  • are a skilled communicator of technical knowledge and used to creating coherence across disciplines
  • have a proactive approach to your work, where you are the person people go to when they need help
  • are technically strong in the design of plumbing and ventilation, cooling and can work independently at a high level
  • thrive in a role with direct customer contact and take pride in delivering high-quality projects.
