Radar Systems Engineer

MatrixSpace is seeking a Radar Systems Engineer to develop, test, and optimize radar algorithms and configurations. This role involves troubleshooting issues, collaborating with hardware and software teams to enhance radar performance, and analyzing field data. Candidates should possess strong technical problem-solving and communication skills, along with expertise in RF systems, data analysis, and software development.

Must Have

• Develop, test and optimize radar algorithms and configurations
• Troubleshoot arising issues and implement corrective action
• Collaborate with software and hardware teams to improve radar performance
• Collect and analyze field data to quantify performance and improvements
• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering required
• 3+ years of relevant experience
• Must be U.S. citizens or lawful permanent residents (Green Card holder)

Good to Have

• Knowledge of RF systems up to K band
• Experience with signal processing

Responsibilities:

• Develop, test and optimize radar algorithms and configurations.

• Troubleshoot arising issues and implement corrective action.

• Collaborate with software and hardware teams to improve radar performance.

• Collect and analyze field data to quantify performance and improvements.

Skills:

• Knowledge of RF systems, preferably up to K band.

• Data analysis in Python or Matlab.

• Software experience, including C/C++, Python, and Matlab.

• Knowledge of RF bench equipment (spectrum analyzer, network analyzer, etc.), or experience with signal processing.

• Technical problem-solving skills.

• Strong communications skills, good interpersonal skills.

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering required.

• 3+ years of relevant experience.

• This position requires working directly or indirectly with the US Government in restricted environments. Candidates must be U.S. citizens or lawful permanent residents (Green Card holder).
