Data center Engineer
Job Summary
Job Description
The Data Center Engineer will be responsible for strong networking and in-depth knowledge of Cisco Nexus switching and routing technologies. They will be proficient with networking tools and will support and configure medium to large enterprise DC networks. This role involves troubleshooting complex product and network problems, requiring excellent verbal and written communication skills, customer handling skills, and a strong attention to detail. Experience with Data Center Layer 2 overlays like VXLAN EVPN is also required.
Must have:
- Strong Networking and in-depth knowledge in Cisco Nexus.
- Proficient with networking tools like traffic generators.
- Experience supporting and configuring enterprise DC network.
- Troubleshoot product and network problems.

- Strong Networking and in-depth knowledge in Cisco Nexus switching and routing technologies.
- Proficient with networking tools such as traffic generators (e.g. IXIA), sniffers, packet captures etc.
- Solid experience supporting and configuring medium to large enterprise DC network.
- Troubleshoot product and network problems of high complexity.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Good Customer handling skills. Ability to handle tough situations effectively.
- Solid attention to details.
- Data Center Layer 2 overlays for example VXLAN EVPN
