Data Center Engineer - ONSITE in Harrisburg, PA

This role involves providing operational and technical support for data center computer systems and peripheral equipment. Responsibilities include monitoring system performance, performing maintenance and repair, escalating issues, reassigning job priorities, participating in on-call rotations, updating systems, and partnering with vendors. Candidates should have 1-2 years of experience and be willing to work onsite in Harrisburg, PA.

Must Have

What success looks like in this role:

• Provides operational and technical support for assigned data center computer systems and associated peripheral equipment.
• Monitors performance of on-line systems utilizing software support tools to complete all scheduled jobs in a timely manner.
• Performs standard maintenance and repair.
• Interfaces with clients and appropriate support groups to escalate issues for resolution.
• Reassigns job priorities according to precedent, policy, and procedures.
• Participates in on-call rotation; responds to alerts and systems issues.
• Updates systems and applications.
• Partners with vendors and component suppliers to replace or repair failed equipment.

You will be successful in this role if you have:

High School Diploma or GED required

May require technical certification or Associate Degree

Generally, 1-2years’ experience in area of responsibility

• willing to be onsite 5 days a week in Harrisburg, PA
