Data Scientist (LLM)

Binance, a leading global blockchain ecosystem and cryptocurrency infrastructure provider, is seeking a Data Scientist with expertise in Large Language Models (LLMs). The role involves researching cutting-edge LLM technologies like fine-tuning, RAG, prompt engineering, and knowledge-grounded dialogue systems. Responsibilities include enhancing foundation model performance through data acquisition, model evaluation, SFT, reward modeling, and reinforcement learning. The position also entails exploring new AI and AI agent-based products for Binance offerings and keeping abreast of the latest advancements in AI and LLMs.

Must Have

• Research LLM technologies (fine-tuning, RAG, prompt engineering)
• Enhance foundation model performance (data acquisition, evaluation)
• Explore new AI products
• Stay updated on AI/LLM advancements
• Experience in NLP and LLM technologies

• Publications in top-tier AI/ML venues

Responsibilities:

• Conduct research on cutting-edge LLM technologies, including but not limited to: large language models and fine-tuning techniques, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), prompt engineering, and knowledge-grounded dialogue systems.
• Enhance overall performance for foundation models, encompassing data acquisition, model evaluation, SFT, reward modeling, and reinforcement learning.
• Explore new downstream products with AI and AI agent technologies at their core for Binance products.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest academic and industrial advancements in AI, LLMs, etc.

• Experience in NLP and LLM technologies.
• Publications in top-tier venues, such as KDD, CVPR, NeurIPS, ICLR, ICML, EMNLP, ACL, ECCV, ICCV, etc.
