Job Summary
The Datacenter Infrastructure Engineering team supports the company's fast growth by building and operating hyperscale datacenters. The team manages the end to end lifecycle of server fleet, providing cloud solutions and various infrastructure services ensuring that they are scalable and are reliable. Responsibilities include working within a ticketing system in support of the server fleet, being the first point of contact for break-fix technicians, prioritizing ticketing queues and working to resolve escalations, performing power cycles, troubleshooting, and replacing failed components, physically assisting in moving and installing equipment, assisting in projects such as adding new capacity and working on retrofits within the Datacenter, having a strong desire and capability to learn, grow, and develop new skills, participating in an on-call rotation, establishing strong working relationships with various internal teams and external partners, assisting with inventory and asset management, and working with physical security and EHS teams to support site health and compliance.
Must Have
- College/Technician Degree or equivalent professional experience/certification in Engineering
- Knowledge of Linux and server hardware repairs
- Working knowledge of technologies such as HTTP, DNS, RAID, and DHCP
Good to Have
- At least three years of experience supporting IT equipment or related technology
