Job Description

Marvell is seeking a Demand Planner to join their team. This role is critical for driving accurate, data-informed forecasts to support operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and revenue growth. The Demand Planner will be responsible for the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process in collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain. They will also work closely with Business Units to gather market intelligence, customer trends, and information on new product introductions, influencing executive decisions with data-driven insights and scenario planning. Key responsibilities include using data analytics to identify and address Demand Planning performance issues, analyzing demand trends, backlog, bookings, and point-of-sales data against historical trends to identify anomalies, publishing and monitoring supply chain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), monitoring Demand plans versus actuals to identify variances and drive actions, and participating in ad-hoc projects involving cross-functional teams.
Good To Have:
  • 2-5 years of relevant industry experience
  • Background in the semiconductor industry
Must Have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Data Science, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, or related field
  • 0-2 years of experience in Demand Planning, Supply Chain, or related discipline
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong interest in demand forecasting, automation, and data flow optimization
  • Proactive, self-starting mindset
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail

The Demand Planning team plays a critical role in driving accurate, data-informed forecasts that support operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and revenue growth. This team (1) drives the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process in partnership with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain, (2) collaborates closely with Business Units to capture market intelligence, customer trends, and new product introductions, and (3) influences executive-level decisions with data-driven insights and scenario planning.

What You Can Expect

  • Use data analytics to identify Demand Planning performance issues and drive actions
  • Analyze demand trends, backlog, bookings, point-of-sales, and etc. against historical trends to identify anomalies
  • Publish and monitor supply chain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Monitor Demand plans vs. actuals to identify variance and drive actions
  • Ad-hoc projects that involve cross-functional teams from Finance, Sales and Product Marketing teams

What We're Looking For

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Data Science, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, or a related field
  • 0–2 years of experience in Demand Planning, Supply Chain, or a related discipline
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in Excel
  • Strong interest in demand forecasting, automation, and data flow optimization
  • Highly task-oriented with a proactive, self-starting mindset
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications 

  • 2–5 years of relevant industry experience
  • Background in the semiconductor industry

The successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
