The Deputy Manager, Aftersales is responsible for overseeing the financial performance and operational efficiency of dealer Aftersales departments. This includes regularly reviewing financial statements to enhance profitability and ensure compliance with company standards. The role involves monitoring staff levels and compensation plans to manage employee turnover. A key aspect is staying informed about competitive dealership actions, such as pricing and campaigns. Responsibilities include identifying opportunities for revenue growth in areas like Express Service and Service Contracts, reviewing dealer and Service Advisor performance, and managing parts wholesale opportunities. The Deputy Manager will also ensure healthy appointment ratios for workshop balance and support dealer efforts to meet accessory sales targets. Forecasting parts sales and developing outlet-level annual business plans are also part of the role. Additionally, the position involves reviewing service marketing plans, recommending improvements to customer retention strategies, and supporting national Aftersales marketing initiatives. The role also focuses on developing and cascading incentive programs for dealers, managing parts inventory, and providing dealers with benchmarking information for P&L and balance sheet improvements. Customer satisfaction is a priority, requiring review of CSI scores, addressing customer complaints, and ensuring quality closure. The Deputy Manager will provide technical assistance to dealers for difficult repairs and monitor the <span style="overflow-wrap: break-word; display: inline; text-decoration: inherit; hyphens: auto;">fix-it-right-first-time</span> targets. Warranty claim approvals and ensuring dealer compliance with NSSW and AS-DOS policies are also included. Finally, the role involves managing facility requirements, manpower recruitment and training, monitoring HR practices to control attrition, and conducting periodic audits to ensure compliance with NSSW, AS-DOS, and 5S requirements. The Deputy Manager will support underperforming dealers and act as a liaison between dealers and the national support center.
