Job Summary

Job Description

The Design Review Team Lead will conduct supportive and efficient Design Reviews, evaluating designs at various development stages, attending meetings, and providing design solutions. They will also support Product Engineers through the Design Review Process, contribute to its continuous improvement, and evaluate Engineering Change Orders for approval. The role involves assisting team members and Product Engineers as needed.
Must have:
  • Conduct supportive and efficient Design Reviews which includes: performing evaluations of designs at various stages of development before required meetings and compose action items accordingly
  • attending all required meetings
  • provide design solutions as necessary
  • review tolerance analysis
  • review prints and approve Engineering Change Orders
  • escalate major design concerns
  • Support and assist Product Engineers through the various gates of the Design Review Process
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of the Design Review Porcess and associated tracking tools
  • EvalauateEngineerign Chane Orders ECOs for Design Review Team approvals.
  • Support/assist Team Members/Product Engineers when necessary.
Good to have:
  • Masters or 10+ years experience
  • Experience with FMEA methodology
  • Knowledge of manufacturing and assembly process of wire harness components / assemblies
  • Knowledge of vehicle assembly process
  • Experience with direct customer interface
  • Automotive industry background
  • Mobility (occasional travel may be necessary)
  • Presentation skills

REQUIREMENTS, Competencies/Skills:

  • MS Office knowledge (R)
