Job Description

As a DevOps Engineer III, you will collaborate with the DevOps Engineering Manager and a team to build secure and scalable infrastructure. The role involves collaborating with development, operations, and security teams, driving CI/CD efficiency, system reliability, and automation. You will also mentor engineers, shape strategy, and influence decisions to improve Take-Two's engineering culture. Responsibilities include architecting, implementing, and optimizing cloud and on-prem environments using Infrastructure as Code and container orchestration. You will optimize and implement secure CI/CD pipelines, triage and resolve infrastructure issues, and mentor other engineers.
Must have:
  • Craft, document, and socialize solutions collaboratively.
  • Work independently and ask for help when needed.
  • Strong proficiency in AWS, Azure, or GCP with Terraform.
  • Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet).
  • Experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana).
  • Design, develop, and automate tests using Python or C#.
  • Version control administration (GitHub, Perforce).
Good to have:
  • Experience with database administration and tuning.
  • Experience optimizing cloud costs, security, and performance.
  • Background in Agile methodologies and Product Management (Jira, SmartSheets).

The Challenge

In the role of DevOps Engineer III, you'll collaborate with the DevOps Engineering Manager and a team of 5-10 engineers to craft secure, scalable infrastructure. Collaborating and learning with broader development, operations, and security teams, we drive CI/CD efficiency, system reliability, and automation. Beyond technical expertise, you’ll mentor engineers, shape strategy, and influence decisions to enhance Take-Two’s engineering culture.

What You’ll Take On

  • Architect, implement, and optimize cloud-based and on-prem environments using Infrastructure as Code and container orchestration.
  • Optimize and implement secure, scalable CI/CD pipelines (examples GitHub Actions, Jenkins) for seamless automation.
  • Triage and resolve infrastructure, network, and application performance issues for both cloud and on-premises systems.
  • Mentor other engineers, shape DevOps culture, and drive innovation across teams.

What You Bring

  • Adaptability and a willingness to craft, document, and socialize solutions collaboratively for issues that may be outside your understanding.
  • An ability to work independently, but ready to ask for help when needed.
  • Strong proficiency in AWS, Azure, or GCP, with hands-on experience with Terraform.
  • Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible or Puppet, and observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and Datadog, etc.
  • Design, develop, automate testing, and deploy custom tools using languages like Python or C#.
  • Version control administration (examples GitHub, Perforce)

Great to Have:
