Miro is seeking a dynamic Digital Natives Account Executive to join its Sales team, focusing on the vibrant startup ecosystem. This role involves managing the full sales cycle, from identifying and engaging early-stage companies in key global hubs like San Francisco, New York, and Austin, to guiding their adoption and ensuring success on the Miro platform. The ideal candidate will build strong relationships, conduct compelling product demonstrations, and contribute significantly to Miro's growth within the innovative startup community.
Must have:
  • 2 years of proven success in a sales role, ideally with experience selling SaaS solutions
  • A genuine passion for and understanding of the startup ecosystem
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong hunter mentality with a proactive and self-motivated approach
  • Proven ability to manage a full sales cycle and consistently achieve or exceed targets
  • Familiarity with common sales technologies, including CRM systems and sales engagement platforms
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Willingness to be active in the startup community, potentially involving travel
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience

In this exciting role, you'll be at the forefront of Miro's growth within the vibrant startup ecosystem. You'll be responsible for the full sales cycle, from proactively identifying and engaging promising early-stage companies to expertly guiding them through the adoption of Miro and ensuring their continued success and expansion on our platform. What you’ll do

  • Prospect and Generate Leads: Actively identify and qualify high-potential startup accounts within key global startup hubs (San Francisco, New York, and Austin)
  • Build Relationships: Develop and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders within target startup organizations, understanding their unique needs and challenges
  • Conduct Engaging Product Demonstrations: Showcase the power and versatility of Miro through compelling and tailored presentations that resonate with the fast-paced environment of startups
  • Manage and Close Sales Cycles: Effectively manage the entire sales process, from initial outreach to negotiation and deal closure, consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets
  • Drive Customer Success: Serve as a trusted advisor to new startup customers, ensuring a smooth onboarding process, driving adoption, and proactively identifying opportunities for growth and expansion within their organizations
  • Become a Startup Community Champion: Actively participate in the startup community through networking events, industry gatherings, and online forums, building Miro's presence and reputation
  • Provide Valuable Feedback: Share insights gained from working with startups with internal teams (Product, Marketing, Customer Success) to help Miro better serve this critical segment

What you’ll need

  • 2 years of proven success in a sales role, ideally with experience selling SaaS solutions
  • A genuine passion for and understanding of the startup ecosystem, its dynamics, and common challenges faced by early-stage companies
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust quickly
  • Strong hunter mentality with a proactive and self-motivated approach to identifying and pursuing new opportunities
  • Proven ability to manage a full sales cycle and consistently achieve or exceed targets
  • Familiarity with common sales technologies, including CRM systems (Salesforce experience preferred) and sales engagement platforms (Outreach experience a plus)
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Willingness to be active in the startup community, potentially involving travel to key startup hubs
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience
