Enverus is seeking a dynamic Account Director for its Financial Services Sales Team, focusing on the Private Equity sector. This role involves generating new business and expanding existing relationships by selling Enverus SaaS solutions, data analytics, and subscription services. The ideal candidate possesses a strategic hunter mentality with a strong background in solution sales, preferably within oil/gas, power, SaaS, or data/analytics, and will drive the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract negotiation.
Good To Have:
  • A good understanding of the Private Equity sector, including market trends, and technologies
  • Familiarity with Enverus solutions (e.g., Prism, Research, Power & Renewables)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Geoscience, Energy, or related field
  • A network of existing Financial Private Equites both in Oil/Gas and Renewable Power
Must Have:
  • Own and drive the full sales cycle—from prospecting and discovery, proposal generation, contract negotiation & onboarding
  • Prospect and develop existing and new opportunities with financial services customers
  • Engage C-suite and technical buyers to identify business challenges and position Enverus solutions as strategic assets
  • Identify market opportunities, prospect for new clients, and develop strategies to penetrate these markets
  • Develop account plans to grow existing accounts
  • Accurately forecast, and consistently meet or exceed quarterly sales targets
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities within the energy SaaS space
  • Collaborate with Analysts, Marketing, Business Development, Product Specialists, and Customer Success to deliver tailored, value-based solutions
  • Represent Enverus at regional industry events and conferences as needed
  • Educate clients on the benefits and features of Enverus energy SaaS offerings and effectively demonstrate their value proposition
  • Track sales data, analyze performance, prepare forecasts, and generate reports on sales activities and progress toward goals
  • 5+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in SaaS, analytics, or energy markets
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding quota
  • Strong business acumen and consultative sales approach
  • Experience navigating complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders
  • Practical knowledge and experience with AI
  • Strong sales skills, including prospecting, lead generation, negotiation, presentation, and closing deals
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

We are seeking a dynamic and driven Account Director to join our Financial Services Sales Team and expand our footprint across the Private Equity sector.

Position Summary:

The Account Director is responsible for generating new business and expanding existing customer relationships by selling Enverus SaaS solutions, data analytics, and subscription-based services to the financial services sector, primarily focused in Private Equity. The ideal candidate is a strategic hunter mentality with a track record in solution sales, preferably in oil/gas and power, SaaS, or data/analytics sectors.

Performance Objectives

  • Own and drive the full sales cycle—from prospecting and discovery, proposal generation, contract negotiation & onboarding.
  • Prospect and develop existing and new opportunities with financial services customers. Engage C-suite and technical buyers to identify business challenges and position Enverus solutions as strategic assets. Identify market opportunities, prospect for new clients, and develop strategies to penetrate these markets, focusing on the unique value proposition of the Enverus energy SaaS solution.
  • Develop account plans to grow existing accounts. Working closely with retention.
  • Accurately forecast, and consistently meet or exceed quarterly sales targets.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities within the energy SaaS space.
  • Leadership & Development - Collaborate with Analysts, Marketing, Business Development, Product Specialists, and Customer Success to deliver tailored, value-based solutions.
  • Represent Enverus at regional industry events and conferences as needed.
  • Product Knowledge and Expertise: Educate clients on the benefits and features of Enverus energy SaaS offerings and be able to effectively demonstrate their value proposition, often collaborating with sales engineers and technical support teams.
  • Sales Performance and Reporting: Track sales data, analyze performance, prepare forecasts, and generate reports on sales activities and progress toward goals.

Competitive Candidate Profile:

  • Experience: Proven experience in SaaS and or financial services sales, ideally within the energy sector, with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • AI – Artificial Intelligence is a large part of the Enverus landscape. Practical knowledge and experience with AI.
  • Sales Acumen: Strong sales skills, including prospecting, lead generation, negotiation, presentation, and closing deals.
  • Evidence of creativity: “thinking outside the box,” will be key to success. Enverus has a Business Development and Marketing team at your disposal. How would you engage with them?
  • Leadership Skills: Experience in leading and motivating a sales team, driving performance and fostering a positive sales culture.
  • Industry Knowledge: A good understanding of the Private Equity sector, including market trends, and technologies would be helpful but not required.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively articulate the value proposition of the SaaS solution and build rapport with clients and team members.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze sales data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to optimize sales strategies.
  • Tech Savviness: Familiarity with CRM systems, sales tools, and a comfort level with technology in general.
