Today, with offices in Oslo and Hyderabad, we serve industry leading video game data and insights to the biggest companies worldwide, influencing millions of gaming decisions every day. The Role

As the Director of Human Resources, you will be at the helm of our global HR initiatives, based out of our Hyderabad office. This role requires a visionary strategist with the ability to inspire and lead, coupled with a willingness to engage in the foundational work when necessary. This position is more than a job; it is a unique opportunity to contribute to something truly extraordinary.

What You’ll Do

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement strategic HR plans that align with Gameopedia’s growth objectives and operational goals.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize HR analytics and metrics to drive decisions, measure success, and optimize HR processes.
  • Global HR Operations: Manage and oversee HR functions across multiple countries, ensuring compliance and best practices in a diverse and distributed workforce.
  • Employee Experience: Foster a positive, inclusive, and human-centric workplace culture that engages and retains top talent.
  • Innovation and Automation: Leverage HR automation tools and AI technologies to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
  • Talent Acquisition and Development: Attract, hire, and develop top talent to meet the evolving needs of the company.

What We’re Looking For

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree in HR or MBA preferred. HR certifications like SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or CIPD are a plus.
  • Experience:
    • 12-17 years of progressive HR experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership role. Experience in scaling up companies, particularly in the tech or gaming industries, is highly desirable.

    • Extensive experience in leading talent acquisition, employee relations/engagement, performance management, cash and equity compensation, learning & development, with significant experience as an HR business partner.

  • Global Expertise: Proven track record in managing HR functions in a global setting, with a general understanding of cultural sensitivities and international HR practices.

  • Skills and Competencies:
    • Strategic and analytical thinker

    • Proficient in data-driven HR practices

    • Exceptional verbal and written communicator

    • Human-centric approach to employee engagement

    • Strong understanding of HR automation and AI technologies
