Job Summary

We are seeking a Director of Lifecycle Marketing for a leading industry company in Virginia Beach, VA. This on-site role involves leading customer engagement strategies, driving growth, and retention through innovative marketing initiatives. The successful candidate will develop comprehensive strategies, design targeted campaigns, manage multi-channel efforts, analyze key metrics, and continuously refine approaches to improve customer interaction and conversion rates.

Must Have

  • Develop and oversee comprehensive marketing strategies spanning all stages of the customer journey.
  • Design targeted campaigns leveraging behavioral, transactional, and demographic insights.
  • Manage the creation and deployment of multi-channel lifecycle campaigns, including email, SMS, in-app messaging, push notifications, and paid media retargeting, with an emphasis on automation.
  • Analyze key performance metrics such as churn, customer lifetime value, engagement, and repeat purchases.
  • Continuously test and refine messaging, timing, and channel mix through A/B and multivariate testing.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • Over 10 years of experience in lifecycle, CRM, retention, or growth marketing roles.
  • Demonstrated success in improving customer retention, engagement, and lifetime value with measurable results.
  • Proficiency with data visualization tools like Looker, Tableau, or Google Analytics.
  • Practical experience working with marketing automation and CRM platforms such as Braze, Salesforce, HubSpot, or Iterable.
  • Strong communication abilities combined with a customer-focused approach.
  • Capacity to juggle multiple projects efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Director, Lifecycle Marketing Responsibilities:

  • Develop and oversee comprehensive marketing strategies spanning all stages of the customer journey, from acquisition to reactivation.
  • Design targeted campaigns leveraging behavioral, transactional, and demographic insights to increase customer interaction and conversion rates.
  • Manage the creation and deployment of multi-channel lifecycle campaigns, including email, SMS, in-app messaging, push notifications, and paid media retargeting, with an emphasis on automation.
  • Analyze key performance metrics such as churn, customer lifetime value, engagement, and repeat purchases to identify growth opportunities.
  • Continuously test and refine messaging, timing, and channel mix through A/B and multivariate testing to improve campaign effectiveness.

Director, Lifecycle Marketing Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field; an MBA is preferred.
  • Over 10 years of experience in lifecycle, CRM, retention, or growth marketing roles.
  • Demonstrated success in improving customer retention, engagement, and lifetime value with measurable results.
  • Proficiency with data visualization tools like Looker, Tableau, or Google Analytics.
  • Practical experience working with marketing automation and CRM platforms such as Braze, Salesforce, HubSpot, or Iterable.
  • Strong communication abilities combined with a customer-focused approach.
  • Capacity to juggle multiple projects efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • This role balances strategic planning with hands-on execution, requiring innovative thinking, technical skills, and analytical prowess to improve customer loyalty and engagement. Key KPIs include customer retention, lifetime value, and engagement metrics.
