Job Summary
This Working Student role in Product Marketing for Power Semiconductors at Infineon involves market analysis of power electronic applications, supporting Go-to-Market strategies, and assisting with New Product Introductions. Responsibilities include content management for product launches, generating marketing insights, and creating presentations for stakeholders. The ideal candidate is an energetic problem solver with strong analytical skills in Microsoft Office and Power BI, a basic understanding of marketing, and fluent English.
Must Have
- Assess and synthesize market data for power electronic applications.
- Analyze Total Addressable Market (TAM) and Serviceable Addressable Market (SAM).
- Assist in Go-to-Market (G2M) strategy planning and execution.
- Coordinate key action items including tracking sample requests and fulfilment.
- Support in preparing content for launch of new products.
- Manage and update content at Infineon collaboration platforms.
- Support new product introductions (NPIs).
- Generate marketing insights, drive recommendations, and build dashboards.
- Create compelling presentations for management and stakeholders.
- Enrolled in Electrical/Industrial Engineering, Microelectronics, Physics or similar.
- Energetic problem solver with learning mindset.
- Skills to “just get things done”.
- Ability to adapt to an agile, fast-paced environment effectively and reliably.
- Great use of Microsoft Office programs (Excel, VBA, Powerpoint).
- Proficiency in other tools like Power BI.
- Basic understanding of marketing (marketing mix - 4Ps).
- Affinity for numbers and deriving insights out of data.
- Fluent in English.
- Must be enrolled at a university and not have completed all exams or modules.
- Must not be in a semester of leave.
- Available for at least 6 months.
- Able to come to the office regularly to integrate into the team.
- Work part-time, maximum 20 hours per week during lecture period.

Your Role
Key responsibilities in your new role
- Market Analysis:
- Assess and synthesize market data of power electronic applications like electric trucks, battery energy storage system, solid-state transformers, renewables etc.
- Analyze Total Addressable Market (TAM) and Serviceable Addressable Market (SAM) to identify growth opportunities
- Go-to-Market (G2M) Support: Assist in G2M strategy planning and execution by coordinating key action items incl. tracking sample requests and fulfilment
- New Product Introduction (NPI) & Content Management:
- Support in preparing content for launch of new products incl. product collaterals and presentations
- Manage and update content at Infineon collaboration platforms to ensure marketing material access to worldwide sales
- Support new product introductions (NPIs)
- Data-Driven Marketing: Generate marketing insights, drive recommendations and build dashboards to visualize and present data effectively
- Presentation creation: Create compelling presentations for management and stakeholders
Your Profile
Qualifications and skills to help you succeed
- Study field: Enrolled in Electrical/Industrial Engineering, Microelectronics, Physics or similar. A business background is a plus
- Way of working: Energetic problem solver with learning mindset and skills to “just get things done”. Ability to adapt to an agile, fast-paced environment effectively and reliably
- Analytical skills: Great use of Microsoft office programs (Excel, VBA, Powerpoint) and other tools like Power BI etc.
- Marketing skills: Basic understanding of marketing (marketing mix - 4Ps) and affinity for numbers and deriving insights out of data
- Language skills: Fluent in English, German is a plus

- Working part-time: The focus is on studies. That’s why working as a student employee during lecture period is limited to a maximum of 20 hours per week.
- Proper students (according to the German law) are welcome: To work as a student employee with us, you must be enrolled at a university and not have completed all of your exams or modules for your degree programme. You must not be in a semester of leave. We look forward to welcoming you to our team for at least 6 months.
- You should live close to the site: For good collaboration, it is important to us that you can come to the office regularly to integrate to the team.
