Job Summary
As a District Manager, you are responsible for the success and growth of our Unilever Food Solutions (UFS) portfolio in your region. Your main tasks include acquiring new customers and expanding our product range with existing customers. You work closely with the Sales Manager and build a strong network of trade partners, customer contacts, and regional associations. With your sales talent, customer relationship management skills, and product demonstration ability, you will sustainably embed our products in the customer process and drive business forward. Your tasks will include achieving business goals with assigned consumer and local trade customers, managing local consumer customers to unlock sales potential, independently negotiating terms, proactively developing new customer acquisition activities, building strong business relationships, implementing national agreements, effective teamwork, and multi-contact customer support.
Must Have
- Achieve business goals with assigned consumer and local trade customers.
- Manage local consumer customers to unlock sales potential.
- Independently negotiate terms and agreements with consumer and local trade customers.
- Proactively develop and implement activities for new customer acquisition, assortment expansion, and new sales channels.
- Build and expand intensive business relationships with customers and sales representatives.
- Implement national central agreements (listings, distribution, promotions).
- Effective teamwork and interface management within sales.
- Customer support through multi-contact strategy (physical & digital).
- Ideally, training in the gastronomic or commercial field.
- Sales experience in the foodservice business or passion for food.
- Driver's license (Class B).

WHAT WILL BE YOUR TASKS
- Achieving business goals with assigned consumer and local trade customers, through successful implementation of goals and strategies.
- Customer management of local consumer customers with the aim of unlocking sales potential in both inbound and outbound sales.
- Independent negotiation of terms and agreements with consumer and local trade customers.
- Proactive development and systematic implementation of activities for new customer acquisition, assortment expansion, and the development of new sales channels for customers with the greatest potential.
- Building and expanding intensive business relationships with customers and sales representatives in the trade at all contact levels (network).
- Implementation of national central agreements from Trade and Chains (listings, distribution, promotions, etc.).
- Effective teamwork and interface management within sales (internal and external).
- Customer support through a multi-contact strategy (physical & digital contacts).
WHAT YOU BRING
Experience & Qualifications
- Ideally, training in the gastronomic or commercial field.
- Sales experience in the foodservice business or passion for food, as well as joy in contact with people.
- Driver's license (Class B).
