OBJECTIVE

The Data Science and Artificial Intelligence - Smart Operations Management degree program at DHBW Heilbronn prepares students to make data-driven decisions in companies and to develop intelligent systems. The focus is on the application of Data Science and AI in the optimization of business processes and working manufacturing plants with the help of artificial intelligence.

• Practical location: Heilbronn plant
• Degree: Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.)

WHAT YOUR TASKS WILL BE

• Programming and development of algorithms and data structures based on mathematical principles
• Conducting test series and evaluations of technical data with the help of data analyses, machine learning, statistical methods, and Big Data technologies
• Development and application of AI methods, neural networks, and deep learning for the optimization of business or production processes or Industry 4.0
• Application of what has been learned in real projects and case studies: assignments in changing departments with exciting projects (e.g., Site Engineering, Business Application, Manufacturing Systems, General Management)
• A comprehensive view of our plant and our business processes and manufacturing facilities, as well as in related areas (environmental technology and automation)
• Insights into the work and organization of a food manufacturer
