Eco-design & Innovation Engineer (M/F)

Dassault Systèmes, a scientific company at the heart of technological innovation, is looking for an Eco-design & Innovation Engineer for an 11-month fixed-term contract in Vélizy-Villacoublay, France. This role involves integrating sustainability, regenerative principles, and design innovation into industrial practices using advanced exploration methods, AI, and C-K theory to shape a resilient and creative industry. The engineer will contribute to Dassault Systèmes' ambition to harmonize product, nature, and life.

Must Have

• Integrate eco-design and circular economy into 3DEXPERIENCE® solutions.
• Perform LCA and environmental simulations for design decisions.
• Define methodologies, indicators, and best practices for regulations.
• Structure and lead innovation processes using C-K theory.
• Organize exploration and co-creation workshops.
• Utilize AI and digital twins for disruptive solutions.
• Experiment with regenerative design approaches.
• Translate explorations into innovation strategies.
• Support clients in sustainable and innovative design.
• Contribute to strategic content (white papers, recommendations).
• Proficiency in eco-design, LCA, circular economy, sustainable materials.
• Knowledge of innovation methods (C-K, design thinking, biomimicry).
• Mastery of digital engineering tools (CAD, PLM, simulation, digital twins).
• Familiarity with AI culture: generative design, machine learning.

As an Eco-design & Innovation Engineer, you will contribute to Dassault Systèmes' ambition to harmonize product, nature, and life.

Your mission: integrate sustainability, regenerative principles, and design innovation at the heart of industrial practices, by mobilizing advanced exploration methods, artificial intelligence, and C-K theory to shape a resilient and creative industry.

Eco-design & Sustainability

• Integrate eco-design and circular economy principles into 3DEXPERIENCE® solutions
• Perform life cycle assessments (LCA) and environmental simulations to guide design decisions
• Define methodologies, indicators, and best practices compliant with regulations

Innovation & Exploration (C-K, Design Thinking, AI)

• Structure and lead innovation processes using C-K theory.
• Organize exploration and co-creation workshops to imagine new concepts and possible futures
• Utilize AI and digital twins to generate, simulate, and validate disruptive solutions
• Experiment with new regenerative design approaches with industrial, academic, and research ecosystems

Strategy & Transformation

• Translate explorations into innovation strategies and scenarios for regenerative futures
• Support clients in developing sustainable and innovative design approaches
• Contribute to the production of strategic content (white papers, recommendations, decision-making tools)

Qualifications

• Eco-design, LCA, circular economy, sustainable materials
• Knowledge of innovation methods (C-K, design thinking, foresight, biomimicry)
• Proficiency in digital engineering tools (CAD, PLM, simulation, digital twins)
• AI culture: generative design, eco-efficient optimization, machine learning
