Job Summary

Torch Technologies is seeking an Electrical/Hardware Design Engineer to support the TMAS2 Tenants effort at Eglin AFB, FL. The role involves evaluating contractor proposals for B-52 pylon and rotary launcher refurbishment, managing design documentation, analyzing wiring and electrical components, and reviewing production processes and quality standards. Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and at least 5 years of experience, along with an active SECRET DoD security clearance and eligibility for TOP SECRET clearance.

  • At least 5 years in electrical engineering experience
  • Active SECRET DoD security clearance
  • Eligible for a TOP SECRET clearance

Job Description

Torch Technologies is seeking a Electrical/Hardware Design Engineer to support the TMAS2 Tenants effort.

As a Electrical/Hardware Design Engineer your duties will include the following, but are not limited to:

  • Evaluate contractor proposals for executable plans for major refurbishment and conversion of B-52 pylons and rotary launchers in support of new missile program.
  • Manage and technically evaluate changes design and production documentation.
  • Analyze and inspect wiring and electrical components.
  • Review and provide recommended changes to drawing packages.
  • Review and evaluate electrically-oriented program and production process documentation and quality standards.
  • Evaluate production Validation and Verification and test plans.
  • Recommend suitable substitutions for obsolete parts and evaluate deviations and variations to approved documentation.

Job Requirements:

  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Must possess a Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or an equivalent discipline.
  • Must have at least 5 years in electrical engineering experience or equivalent.
  • Must have an active SECRET DoD security clearance.
  • Must be eligible for a TOP SECRET clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in relevant discipline preferred

Schedule: M-F; 8-5
