Job Summary
Envoy builds workspace management technology for secure, compliant, and connected workplaces. As a Mobile Engineer, you will be a Member of Technical Staff focusing on Android development. You will build core product features, own the development and release cycle, and enhance app quality. The role involves working with cross-functional teams to scale the Envoy mobile app, designing core Android components, conducting technical reviews, and delivering high-quality code for excellent user experiences.

About the Role
As a Mobile Engineer, you will build core product features and own the entire development and release cycle. You'll be empowered to collect and evaluate key metrics, measure the impact of your work on the business, and enhance the app's quality.
Our mobile team is at the forefront of a rapidly expanding product suite. We use the latest technologies and modern architectural practices to build and scale our apps.
Our mobile apps include:
- Envoy flagship app
- Rooms
- Deliveries Kiosk
- Visitors Kiosk
This is a hybrid position that requires 4 days a week (Monday through Thursday) in our San Francisco office.
You will
- Work with other engineers, designers, and product managers to develop excellent product experiences.
- Help us scale the Envoy mobile app’s usage to tens of thousands of customers.
- Design core Android application components to support the user features.
- Conduct technical design and code reviews, share your knowledge and experience across a wide organization.
- Deliver high-quality code to reinforce the great mobile client experiences.
You have
- 5+ years of experience with Android Development and are proficient in Kotlin.
- Published and maintained one or more apps in the Google Play.
- Familiar with modern mobile architectures (MVVM, MVI, clean architecture).
- Experience with functional asynchronous programming (Coroutines or RxJava).
- Enjoy working on products that are used every day by people around the world.
- Are comfortable with ambiguity and can leverage your experience to make rock-solid engineering and product decisions.
- Appreciate a fast-paced environment that values iteration.
