Job Description

The EMEA Staff Auditor will perform financial, operational, compliance, and SOX audits, including planning, risk assessment, fieldwork, and reporting. Responsibilities include summarizing findings, identifying root causes, developing constructive recommendations, and evaluating management action plans. The role also involves identifying process improvements, evaluating internal control systems, and maintaining client relationships. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Business/Economics, 3+ years of audit experience, and professional certifications like CPA, ACA, or ACCA. Fluency in English and a full driver's license are required.
Must have:
  • Perform audit field engagements (financial, operational, compliance and SOX audits)
  • Summarize findings and develop actionable internal audit recommendations
  • Evaluate management action plans for effectiveness
  • Identify areas for process improvement
  • Evaluate systems of internal controls
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with client management
  • Handle special assignments on diverse audit projects
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Business/Economics or relevant subject
  • 3+ years’ audit experience for large multi-national firm or chartered accounting practice
  • Professional certifications required: CPA, ACA, ACCA or local equivalent
  • Fluent in English (verbally and written)
  • Full drivers license required

Your Role

  • Perform audit field engagements (financial, operational, compliance and SOX audits) including elements of: Planning, Risk Assessment, Fieldwork, Audit Conclusions, Workpapers & Reporting, in accordance with established methodology and within budgeted timeframes
  • Summarize findings, root cause and develop clear, constructive, and actionable internal audit recommendations to address risks identified
  • Evaluate management action plans for effectiveness
  • Identify areas for process improvement
  • Evaluate systems of internal controls including communication of internal control issues to management
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships and communications with client management
  • Effectively handle special assignments on diverse audit projects

Your Background

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Business/Economics or other relevant subject, Masters degree preferred.
  • 3+ years’ audit experience for large multi-national firm or in chartered accounting practice
  • Professional excellence through continuing professional education, certifications required: CPA or ACA or ACCA or local equivalent; or in progress towards certification
  • Language Competency: English required, fluent verbally and written
  • Full drivers license required
