Job Description
SEGULA Technologies is a fast-growing global engineering group seeking an Engine Sensor Development Engineer. This role involves owning the development of engine-level sensors like manifold air pressure, crankcase pressure, knock, and oil pressure/temperature sensors. The engineer will support design and development with existing suppliers, collaborate on sourcing strategies, and drive component release processes, ensuring alignment with OEM requirements. The company fosters innovation in areas like 3D printing and autonomous vehicles.
Must Have:
- Own development of engine-level sensors, including manifold air pressure, crankcase pressure, knock, and oil pressure/temperature sensors.
- Support design and development activities with existing suppliers.
- Collaborate on sourcing strategies with the global supply base.
- Drive component release processes and ensure alignment with OEM requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Basic knowledge of internal combustion (IC) engines.
- OEM experience with advanced quality tools such as DFMEA, DVP&R, and function models.
- Proficiency with NX CAD.
- Experience releasing components at an OEM or large Tier 1 company.
- Knowledge of Siemens Teamcenter.
- Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills.
- Sensor knowledge and/or background in engine diagnostics.
